I've visited Green Town Tavern more than once, and each visit offered a completely different experience. During one visit, I enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere with flavorful drinks and a comfortable setting. On another evening, the energy shifted as the music changed and the crowd grew, creating a lively environment where I ended up spending a lot of time on the dance floor. What I appreciated most was how the venue seemed to appeal to different audiences throughout the day and evening. Whether you're looking for a casual outing, a date night, or a more upbeat social atmosphere later in the night, there's a place for you here. The crowd was friendly, the vibe was welcoming, and it was interesting to see how the atmosphere evolved as the night went on. The food was okay, but the drinks, music, and overall experience are what stood out to me. Green Town Tavern offers a unique mix of relaxation and nightlife.

Went on a weekday for lunch. Started off with some satisfying fried mushrooms and had a somewhat sad veggie wrap (they were out of avocados:( and a blue cheese burger. The burger was well seasoned but had A LOT of blue cheese - so if you absolutely love blue cheese this may be for you. I found the cheese flavor so pungent that it completely overpowered the burger. Perhaps it could be more balanced if there was some bacon or onion rings or something… Also burgers and sandwiches come with pickle spear and potato chips or cottage cheese - NOT fries. That is considered an upgrade. Overall a fine experience. Our server Javy was attentive and kind.

My wife and I stopped her on our way to the Genesee Theater (walking distance) on St. Patty's Day weekend. They had a great cozy bar with a small band playing some great music!! The bartender was very friendly, and we ordered a couple beers and their hand carved corned beef sandwiches. WOW!! The sandwiches were stacked high with big thick slices of meat. We both took a bite and we agreed that it was the best corned beef sandwiches we ever had!! We have had them from Corrigans on the Southside, Mannys, and other but this blew them away. We took home some because the portions were so generous! We both wished we had gotten the platter because it was 2x as big and would have been even more great leftovers!! We highly recommend this place!!!

Decent food, good atmosphere and friendly service. Bartender forgot about us during shift change so had to wait a bit before the new guy picked us up. Fried pickles for an appetizer were good. Had their ranch and sauce that came with it. Both were good. Ordered the black and bleu burger with raw onions. Good flavor, the cheese was good. Fries were good also. Reasonable prices.
